About £50K Pint
At ISM 50k Pint, we’re dedicated to making the roads safer by providing high-quality preventative interventions. Founded on over a decade of research, experience, and real-life feedback, our mission is simple: to prevent drink and drug driving incidents before they happen.
Our courses are designed with one goal in mind – to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to make safer decisions on the road. We’ve listened to countless individuals who wish they’d known this information before a conviction, and we’ve tailored our approach to ensure that knowledge is accessible and effective.
Whether you’re a business looking to support your employees or an individual wanting to avoid a potentially life-changing mistake, we’re here to help. We believe that education is the key to prevention, and we are proud to offer a solution that can make a lasting difference.
Sharron Reilly - Director
Sharron has worked for more than 25 years in justice, health, social care and education. She set up ISM Psychological Services in 2014. She developed the Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) Course which was approved by the Secretary of State in 2015. Sharron has used her doctoral research on drink driving interventions to develop the 50k Pint, a short preventative drink and drug driving course aimed at keeping roads safer and reducing convictions. Sharron is passionate in her work with young children and families, and her therapeutic stance allows her to engage with young people easily. She has a specialist interest in attachment and trauma difficulties. This easily positions her to work with professionals in residential childcare where she has developed a Therapeutic Parenting in Residential Child Care (TPRCC) intervention which is being put through SQA for quality assurance. Sharron has a BA (Hons) in Social Science and Psychology, an MSc in Forensic Psychology and an MSc in Applied Psychology with Children and Young People. She is a qualified and registered Clinical associate in applied psychology and is an Applied member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is currently being supervised by Dr Dawn Harris.
Martin Reilly – Director
Martin has successfully facilitated more than 350 Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) courses. He started at ISM in 2014 was promoted to lead facilitator in 2018. While he continues to facilitate DDRS courses, he also offers support and supervision to new facilitators. He has first hand experience of the criminal justice system, and we believe that his own rehabilitative journey allows him the unique position to empathize and build a rapport with all clients. He has been involved in the development of the DDRS since its inception and has been crucial for building client contact and engagement. Martin has also worked with Sharron in developing the innovative Preventative Drink and Drug Driver course. Martin leads on the “train the trainer” course for this intervention allowing him to spread the word, making roads a safer place and further reducing convictions.
